While the verses of Beopseongge carry profound meanings, the teachings have primarily been transmitted through two-dimensional diagrams. The core of this project was to translate these graphics into a three-dimensional space, expanding the experience from a mental reflection to a physical one. While developing the concept based on the teaching of 'One is All, All is One'—the principle of perfect circular harmony—we realized that the teachings of Beopseongge mirror the relationship between the universe and ourselves. From galaxies and the Earth down to microorganisms and atoms, the gravitational push and pull between planets is no different from the dynamics within our own relationships, where we live freely yet amidst chaos. Each individual’s thoughts and soul undoubtedly house a unique microcosm. Our objective was to apply this concept of interconnected and reciprocal fractals to the spatial design: from the teachings of Beopseongge to spatial forms, design elements, exhibited objects, and ultimately back to the essence of Beopseongge itself.

법성게의 구절들은 심오한 의미를 품고 있지만, 그 가르침은 2차원적 도인의 형상으로 전해져왔습니다. 이 그래픽을 3차원의 공간으로 전환하여 마음의 경험에서 신체의 경험으로 확장된 체험공간을 만드는 것이 프로젝트의 핵심이었습니다. '일중일체다중일 일즉일체다즉일', 하나가 곧 일체이고 여럿이 곧 하나라는 원융적 순환의 가르침을 바탕으로 개념을 전개하던 중, 문득 법성게의 가르침이 우주와 우리의 관계와 닮아있다는 생각이 들었습니다. 우주 속의 은하 속의 지구 속의 우리, 그 속의 미생물과 원자의 형태까지. 행성들 간의 밀고 당김이 우리 관계 속에서의 밀고 당김과 다르지 않아 보였고, 또 그 속에서 어지러운 듯 자유로이 살고 있는 모습, 각자의 사유와 영혼에 깃든 각자의 소우주. 이러한 연결되고 반전되는 상호적 프랙탈의 개념을 공간에 적용하는 것이 목적이었습니다. 법성게의 가르침을 공간의 형태로, 그 안의 디자인적 요소로, 그 안에 전시된 객체로, 그리고 다시 법성게의 개념으로.
