The original gallery entrance consisted of a standard glass door that functioned as a mere flat partition. In response to the client’s request for a distinct atmospheric shift within a compact space, we sought to introduce dimensional layers within the limited physical scope. The semi-circular overhead boundary, paired with offset forms, establishes an experiential threshold. This design transforms a simple act of entry into an immersive transition, recalibrating the visitor’s perception as they move from the mundane world into the artistic world.

기존 갤러리 출입구는 공간을 단순히 분리하는 평면적인 유리문에 불과했습니다. 분위기의 명확한 전환을 원했던 클라이언트의 요청에 따라, 우리는 제한된 공간 안에서 최대한의 입체적인 레이어를 삽입하고자 했습니다. 반원형의 상부 구조물과 리듬감 있게 오프셋된 단차는 단순한 진입을 넘어, 관람객이 외부의 일상을 뒤로하고 예술의 공간으로 깊숙이 들어서는 듯한 전환적 경험을 제공합니다.
