We were responsible for the interior design of a law office occupying a full floor, featuring unobstructed views of the lake and mountains. The layout plan maintains an original separation between the internal workspace and the outer corridor, which houses the elevators and restrooms.
탁 트인 호수와 산이 보이는 건물의 한 층을 사용하는 변호사 사무실의 인테리어 디자인을 담당하였습니다. 엘리베이터와 화장실이 연결된 외부 복도와 사무실이 분리되어 있는 구조입니다.
Forest of Trust
신뢰의 숲
The client, growing up in a family that operates a large-scale sawmill, has long shared a profound affinity for wood; naturally, the client’s first office was envisioned to take the form of a forest. Our focus remained on harmoniously reconciling the tranquility and inclusivity of a forest with the rigorous trust and professionalism required of a legal expert. Through this integration, the space transcends the rigid atmosphere of a conventional law firm, reborn as a woodland sanctuary where clients find emotional comfort alongside absolute legal protection.
큰 제재소를 운영하는 가문의 클라이언트는 오랜 기간 나무를 친밀히 생각하였고, 자신의 첫 사무실 또한 마땅히 숲의 형상이 되어야 했습니다. 우리는 숲이 지닌 평온함과 포용력, 법률 전문가에게 요구되는 엄격한 신뢰성과 전문성이라는 상반된 모티브를 조화롭게 풀어나가는 데 집중했습니다. 이러한 결합을 통하여 공간은 단지 경직된 분위기를 연출하는 법률사무소가 아닌, 고객이 법적인 보호를 받는 동시에 정서적인 안락함을 느낄 수 있는 산림이 되어줍니다.
Pillar of the Forest
숲의 기둥
The cornerstone of the spatial layout is the monumental wooden pillar situated at the center. It symbolizes unwavering and steadfast trust, acting as a natural boundary that fluidly delineates the lobby from the workspace. Extending from this central axis like branching limbs, various programs are organically connected. While the pillar serves as the 'trunks' of a forest, providing a sense of visual stability and trust, the individual rooms offer 'psychological shade', creating an intimate environment for consultations between lawyers and clients.
공간 레이아웃의 핵심은 중앙에 위치한 거대한 나무 기둥입니다. 이는 흔들리지 않는 굳은 신뢰를 표상하며, 로비 공간과 사무 공간을 자연스럽게 분리하는 경계가 됩니다. 이 중심축을 바탕으로 나뭇가지가 뻗어나가듯 각각의 프로그램이 연결됩니다. 기둥이 숲의 몸통으로써 시각적 신뢰감을 제공한다면, 개별 방들은 변호사와 고객을 위한 심리적 그늘이 되는 아늑한 상담환경을 조성합니다.
Permeating Sunshine
스며드는 햇살
As one walks along the path following the wooden pillar, the landscape gradually unfolds. Natural light, entering through large windows framed in each room, permeates deep into the space like sunlight filtering through forest branches. This interplay of light, warm wood tones, and refined finishes harmonizes to maintain a sense of legal precision while creating a space where calm efficiency and the forest's vitality coexist.
나무 기둥을 따라 오솔길을 걸으면 풍경이 조금씩 바뀝니다. 각 방에 프레이밍 된 큰 창을 통해 유입되는 채광은 숲의 나뭇가지 사이로 쏟아지는 햇살처럼 공간 깊숙이 스며듭니다. 이러한 빛의 변주와 우드 톤의 소재, 정갈한 마감이 어우러져 법률적인 정밀함을 유지하면서도, 숲의 생명력을 바탕으로 차분한 효율성이 공존하는 공간을 완성합니다.
